17/Apr/2001 Call for Presentations - JANOG8 Meeting - July 27th, 2001 Mielparque Tokyo Scope of this Meeting : The JApan Network Operators' Group will hold its 8th meeting at Mielparque Tokyo. In the meeting, operational and technical issues regarding the Internet technologies will be discussed. Presentations we invite Operational and Technical issues of the Internet technologies, not only routing issues but also other following issues: -Mail server issues for fast transmission -Backbone topology design issues for efficient routing -Server performance issues for ISP services we also welcome pannel discussions. Based on JApan Network Operators' Group Policy, we do not accept presentations only for the advertisement and publicity of your products and services. Also, we accept presentations only in Japanese language for sake of attendees. Please prepare for interpretors if such case. Further on, presentation documents /slides will be requested until one month before JANOG8. Presention form The time slot of your presentaion will be specified by Program Committee. When we use IPv6 service, the infomation what needs to connect to IPv6 global network and what equipment we need is not generally known widely. This presentation explains what we need network equipment and how we design network in the time to shift to IPv6 from IPv4.
