Many operators are using and operating BGP as data center network design after Microsoft did presentation "Massive Scale Data Center" at NANOG 55, in 2012.But it has not dynamic discovery mechanism by itself, so there are many ideas to cover the lack of protocol.In another side, IETF makes DCRouting mailing list to discuss routing protocol it focuses on today's data center.This session provides a problem of old-style data center, design merit of today's technology, EVPN applicability in a data center, a summary of protocols which are proposed on IETF.
