New technology and ongoing operation for 5G era
Abstract
Perhaps the roles that each individual has in each company are different,
and there are various ways of development of new technology, delivery, stable operation after start of the services.
However, I think there is a common point when we make one system and try to maintain and improve.
I feel that there is not a little gap between ideal and reality,
between who talks about relatively sparkling new things
and those who are responsible for the actual operations.
How each person think about it and how to face it,
I would like to discuss in JANOG where various engineers gather.
Sparkling story from Shoichi Narita about 5G technical outline and perspective as a NIer, and
operational talk from Utsumi Nakajima will provide examples of struggling about our company's NOC launch and daily monitoring work as an example.
We will present each idea and opinion from two different standpoints, new technologies and continued operations.
