JPNIC services WHOIS, which is primarily used to identify and search for assignees of an Internet resource, such as an IP address block or an AS number. In 2019, JPNIC started to provide a new WHOIS service in regional site to improve redundancy. In this presentation, I will explain this trial of regional redundancy for WHOIS and its results, and discuss with audience how to changeover new service.
