概要
We have developed a system that collects sensed IoT data with IoT-GWs installed in the local site and stores it in the cloud. Normally, IoT-GWs need to be provisioned for each project before deployment, but this system automates the provisioning part and eliminates all the procedures from on-site installation to the start of data collection and monitoring. We are developing an orchestrator using Robot Framework/Django as the core of the system, which handles router config submission, registration to various managers, and container deployment to edge routers. We would like to share our experiences with the technical challenges of design, development, and testing. We also would like to discuss them with people who are currently struggling with automation or who are about to start working on automation.
