KDDI's network architecture and current status ~ and for the future

Abstract

KDDI is operating an MPLS based backbone network integrating mobile services with wired services. In this presentation, I'd like to share knowledge about the following topics, which JANOGers may find interesting, specifically:


  • The current MPLS network architecture and the future architecture
  • Design policy of the MPLS network (ex. a way to establish traffic engineering path / routing design)
  • State of wired and mobile traffic
