Changes in DDoS defence with the emergence of Ad Technology and IoT

Abstract

Based on the DDoS attacks that were launched on the London Olympics in 2012, networks operators have to prepare for a large scale DDoS attacks on the coming Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Not only that, but recently the traffic is changing - we are forced to take prompt measures against the increase of legitimate connections with the emergence of Ad Technology and IoT.

We' d like to discuss the current state of our DDoS defences and for the future.
