Abstract
The impressions of MVNO, which has become more popular in the past several years, is variable among people.
MVNOs(Mobile Virtual Network Operator) build their network by leasing wireless network infrastructure such as base stations from MNOs (Mobile Network Operator), and provide PGW and network connectivity for customers.
The MVNO can
- Provide communication quality (measure utilization of leased lines which connect to MNO,QoS after PGW/compression)
- Provide premium services (a combination of cellular equipment and own services)
- Sales approach for BtoB market (provide SIMs to business customer/custom services to corporate clients)
But they can not
- Provide voice communication
- Provide QoS on the WAN
- Provides Wifi service offload
I'm thinking there are problems, but MNVOs can not solve them alone.
In this session, let's consider operational challenges, future roadmap and how to deploy it from technical perspective.
