Abustract

Through the Ukraine conflict, the importance and usefulness of the Internet have been demonstratedagain, at the same time it has also highlighted many issuessuch as cyber attacks and information manipulation or fake news. This sessionwill focus on Splinternet or the fragmentation of the Internet out of them,review the facts and discuss it from multiple perspectives. It may involve somepolitical discussions and there may not be a clear conclusion, but you will gainthe knowledge on the happenings, various perspectives and opinions regardingSplinternet. We look forward to discussing with you there on site and online.

Please note that we will not discuss other issues such as cyber-attacks andinformation manipulation or fake news in this session, to keep the discussionwell converged. That’s the panelists’ agreement in order to have a gooddiscussion with JANOGers who bring the network to everyone.
