NTT East: What was Behind No Response Failures of TCP Resetters

Abstract

There was a post on the JANOG Mailing list by Lorenzo Colitti from Google in Sep 2013 inquiring "The failure rate of IPv6 reached over 10% mostly in NTT East. What is going on? Is TCP resetter working?

This presentation will explain improvement measures taken to avoid the same failures from happening again, which took about one month to understand the situation and address the problem, from the start of the problem until it was resolved.
