Title

What Are/Are There Any Expectations for Higher Education from Corporate Enterprises in Network Industry?

Abstract

It is a concern that there are gaps emerging between the expectations of ISPs/network equipment vendors, and knowledge and capabilities which can be acquired through higher education such as universities and professional training colleges.

This is an important issue which we should not neglect, especially if the graduates themselves suffer as a result of such gaps.

Against this context, we hope to seek and discuss how to provide a better environment for young human resources to maximize their potentials. We will discuss the realities of higher education, on-the-job training, as well as call for various efforts which are already made today, to be introduced from the floor.
