Phishing, which aims to use online services with clever techniques, has seen a rapid increase in the number of reports about eight times in the last two years, and has a great impact on society.

In particular, the number of “spoofing” phishing emails using the real domain and email address of the service has increased rapidly, and currently accounts for more than half of the total. Of course, these emails can be identified if the sender authentication technology DMARC is installed, but DMARC support is not sufficient in the environment of email service users of Japanese operators.

In this session, we will show examples of the latest phishing techniques and related information updates after the previous JANOG48, the effects of introducing sender authentication technology, and how to overcome the current situation in Japan where phishing damage continues to increase. I would like to think with you.
