What the ‘Information I’ mandate will bring

Abstract

On Janog27 2011, we discussed the topic “Do you know information courses in high school?” Starting in 2022, under Japan’s new courses of study, the high school subject “Information” was replaced by “Information I” from the previous subjects “Information Study for Participating Community” and “Information Study by Scientific Approach.” Additionally, the new subject “Information” will be introduced from the 2025 Common Test for University Admissions and, in principle, will be required by national universities.

In this session, under the Information I mandate, we will discuss the changes since Janog27, the future outlook, and the potential impact on the Internet industry.
