The story of building a 400G DC network for AI/ML infrastructure

Abstract

CyberAgent has built and operates a private cloud for internal use called Cycloud.
We provide our machine learning infrastructure as ML Platform, and for the first time, we have built a lossless and low latency 400G interconnect for a high-speed connection between GPUs.
In this presentation, we would like to share our innovations and difficulties in implementing a 400G DC network, of which there are a few examples in Japan and overseas, and discuss the technologies and issues required for future networking and computing.
