How to build Data Center NW with SONiC ZTP

Abstract

KDDI is building HaaS to virtualize communication devices. Data center networks that manage HaaS hardware are considering a mechanism for constructing everything from underlay to overlay using SONiC ZTP. We are also trying to introduce this method into commercial networks.
In this presentation, We would like to share the knowledge and issues obtained through the verification of ZTP mechanisms, IPv6 EVPN VxLAN, and SONIC in virtual environments, and discuss the following points with JANOG members.

・Are you working on ZTP? If so, how much ZTP have you been able to achieve?
Are there any cases where ZTP is intentionally not used?
・What functions do you think are necessary to achieve complete ZTP?
・What measures are being taken to speed up the construction of HW/NW infrastructure?
・Is there a motivation to promote IPv6? If so, how far has it progressed?
・How are naming rules and rules defined? (aliases, descriptions, etc.)
