Abstract

NEC is considering expanding its NW infrastructure in a Leaf-Spine configuration.

The motivation for expansion may be to increase the number of ports or to increase the bandwidth itself. In this case,

since we needed to increase the number of ports, we adopted the method of increasing the number of SuperSpine devices to increase the number of Spines.

On the other hand, if bandwidth is also to be increased, the introduction of 400G is a possibility, but it often falls into the trap of SFP compatibility and compatible models.

After organizing the methods of NW infrastructure expansion, we would like to discuss with the audience what kind of NW infrastructure expansion is possible and the features of the expansion methods.
