Overview of Internal Verification Network Using SRv6 and Insights from Operating Both SR-MPLS and SRv6

Abstract

We are currently operating an SRv6 network that provides traffic engineering and L3VPN services across multiple locations for internal use.

Through the implementation and operation of this network, we have gained insights into the implementation methods of the SRv6 network and its operational efficiency.

Additionally, while running both SRv6 and SR-MPLS networks in parallel, we have confirmed the advantages and disadvantages of SRv6 compared to SR-MPLS.

In this session, we will share tips for implementing and operating SRv6 networks, discuss potential future use cases for SRv6, present our latest research findings, and explore migration methods from SR-MPLS.

We hope to discuss the operational methods of the SRv6 network as a closed network and its future utilization.
