Abstract
BGP operations are changing gradually with the times. What we have been assuming so far may actually have changed more than we assumed. We would like to discuss the need to sort out the following issues and reflect them in network design and operation: Assumed failures, maintenance frequency, and interoperation with various implementations.
In addition, with the development of the environment and tools, there are more and more opportunities for people to interact with BGP. We would like to discuss with the audience the expansion of such opportunities and how to make use of them.
