Abstract

The JR West Optical Network provides a core line provision service and a data center connection service that utilizes the dark fiber that has been maintained on the Shinkansen/conventional lines in the JR West area.

When we shared service introductions/fiber specifications and loss values ​​in various communities, we received requests for verification other than the actual service, and provided the equipment.

In this program, we will share with you the contents of the verification (400G-ZR Open Line System, Measurement of “State of Polarization” change rate in Shinkansen optical fiber, Toward experimental demonstration of inter-city quantum communication network), and introduce a new technology using long-distance dark fiber. I would love to discuss ideas.
