Network Operations (NetOps) Automation in Production: Struggles, Solutions and Half Measures

Abustract

Through network operations (NetOps) using Gitlab CI and Ansible, we are now conducting network firewall device configuration changes in automated operations at production stage. In this talk, we’d like to share our hows and whys of our NetOps development, along with detailed experiences of struggles – how we managed and how we settled with half measures, and also would like to discuss on few issues we currently facing and future outlooks as well.
