Abustract
The advancement of digitalization in society has been accelerating to cause cyberspace to transform into public space, meanwhile the threats in cyberspace remained grave, as exemplified by not only some ransomware attacks that cast a long shadow over public life but also information leaks caused by an unauthorized access. Given these circumstances, in April 2022, Cyber Affairs Bureau was just established within the National Police Agency (NPA).
In this session, I would like to talk about the police’s role and measures against cyber threats and highlight the public-private partnership, one of the key factors for ensuring safety and security of cyberspace.
